The LWG is a multi-stakeholder group, including brands, retailers, leather manufacturers, chemical suppliers, etc. that collaborate to develop an environmental stewardship protocol for the leather manufacturing industry. The objective is to promote sustainable practices by assessing the compliance and environmental stewardship practices of leather manufacturers, in order to increase transparency and ensure continuous improvement.
