Do brand-new Comfy Moda CanDry Waterproof boots need to be sprayed?
No.
Your boots are ready to wear from day one.
All Comfy Moda boots are made with high-quality waterproof grain leather, nubuck, or suede, combined with seam-sealed CanDry Waterproof construction. This design protects against rain, snow, and everyday city moisture without any extra treatment.
How to clean your Comfy Moda boots after everyday wear
Winter streets can leave behind dirt, salt, and calcium residue. A simple clean keeps your boots looking fresh and extends their life.
Suede boots (e.g. Warsaw Boots)
- Gently brush off dry dirt using the brush provided in the shoebox
- Apply a suede-specific spray protector evenly
- Allow to dry naturally
Grain leather boots (e.g. Flurry Boots)
- Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth
- Apply a leather spray protector or shoe polish as needed
- Buff lightly once dry
Nubuck boots (e.g. Legend II Boots)
- Wipe gently with a damp cloth
- Apply a nubuck-safe spray protector
- Do not use shoe polish, as it can damage the finish
Tip: When boots show signs of wear, always test any spray or polish on a small, hidden area first.
End-of-season care and storage
If your boots pick up dirt or salt near the end of the season, a light refresh before storage helps maintain their shape and appearance.
- Brush away surface dirt
- Lightly apply a water- and stain-repellent spray designed for the boot’s material
- Let the boots dry completely for at least 24 hours
- Brush suede or nubuck in one direction once dry
- Store boots stuffed with clean, crumpled paper to help retain their shape
